Zé Augusto Hoffmann did an outstanding performance 10 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-2 to the right of an irritated Pedrão Costa in the goal. Kaká Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Campidelis having to interfere. Geovânio Donato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Rafa Campidelis made a huge save. When Geovânio Donato came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Floresta Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovânio Donato couldn't finish the play. Rafa Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Proença in the 22nd minute of play. Marcelinho Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Zé Pedro Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Pedrão Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Zé Pedro Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lavrodonto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Pedro Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Zé Pedro Loureiro notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Floresta Club's Pedrão Costa. Pedrão Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th match minute, Floresta Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard França to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes in the game, Zé Pedro Loureiro dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Marcelinho Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Pedrão Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Pedro Loureiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedrão Costa having to make a save. In the 46th minute, Marcelinho Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

If Marcelinho Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafa Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovânio Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 played minutes Floresta Club got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Arantes. The supporters of Floresta Club booed when Lavrodonto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafa Campidelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaká Proença's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Lavrodonto FC booed when Floresta Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Zé Augusto Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Floresta Club's Dinei Paraibano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Floresta Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lavrodonto FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
