After 22 played minutes United Foxes got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Amaral. A collision led to United Foxes getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Durval Aguiar hit a great ball. After 27 played minutes EspartaFC got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Ribeiro. In the 32nd play minute Paulo Renato Ferreira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised José Pedro Soares. 2-1. Tales Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Paraibano in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Fred Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to United Foxes getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Gilvan Seco hit a great ball. Fred Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. But to his dismay, Paulo Renato Ferreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. João Francisco Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Pedro Soares came out of the goal and Paulo Renato Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. United Foxes had played much better football throughout.
