Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th match minute, JôVentus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Augusto Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iuri Paiva in the 9th minute of the match. Anderson Lara in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lorenzo Oxel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 17th minute, Iuri Paiva made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Salgado. Atlético MS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Atlético MS's Alfredo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri Paiva in the 20th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Atlético MS got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Chaves. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Lara in the 32nd minute of play forced JôVentus FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Oxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético MS's Anderson Lara was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Lorenzo Oxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anderson Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo Oxel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anderson Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. If Eliseu Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Espiridion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anderson Lara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anderson Lara in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorenzo Oxel saved JôVentus FC from getting behind. Iuri Paiva charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iuri Paiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anderson Lara in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorenzo Oxel saved JôVentus FC from getting behind. Eliseu Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Oxel having to interfere. Alfredo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Espiridion in the 62nd minute of the match. Lorenzo Oxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Lara in the 66th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, JôVentus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Lara came free, but Lorenzo Oxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Perivaldo Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lorenzo Oxel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anderson Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Iuri Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JôVentus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Cristian Chaves made in the 88th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arthur Medeiros. The crowd rose to their feet as JôVentus FC's Pedro Augusto Marquez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfredo Salgado. That made the score 3-3 after 90 minutes of play. Atlético MS were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
