Luiz Guilherme Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero Breckenfeld in the 52nd minute of play. Life Style FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But to his dismay, Júlio de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Xanere eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
