The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Rafael Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Eriberto Prado. LoKoMoTiVa 's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 8th minute Maurício Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 played minutes Maurício Nascimento rounded Manacanau's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, Manacanau's Rafael Furtado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eriberto Prado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Lenílson Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rafael Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Maurício Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Rafael Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lenílson Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Eriberto Prado came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Manacanau's Rafael Furtado. But to his dismay, Rafael Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Manacanau's Rafael Furtado in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LoKoMoTiVa 's goalie prevented a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frederico do Vale to strike the kick off in the second half. When Frederico do Vale came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Manacanau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederico do Vale couldn't finish the play. Frederico do Vale struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Eriberto Prado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manacanau. Rafael Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind LoKoMoTiVa 's goalkeeper Eriberto Prado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, LoKoMoTiVa 's Cauã Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beto de Souza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafael Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manacanau's Rafael Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Rafael Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manacanau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Furtado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LoKoMoTiVa 's Eriberto Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico do Vale in the 95th minute of play. The LoKoMoTiVa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Manacanau were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
