Paulão Vidal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Marcelo Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With 27 minutes on the clock, Ediberto Amaral commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Jacu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dream Team RN - FDFDF:s goal. After 32 minutes, Lauro Peres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jacu and the Dream Team RN - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dream Team RN - FDFDF booed when Jacu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 minutes, Yuri Breckenfeld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dream Team RN - FDFDF and the Jacu players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Dream Team RN - FDFDF getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Yuri Breckenfeld hit a great ball. Gugu Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Dalmo Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulão Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Passos in the 45th minute of play.

Zé Roberto Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulão Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Passos in the 61st minute of play. Zé Roberto Neto struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Marcelo Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jacu. Paulão Vidal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalmo Pombal's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Jacu's Paulão Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Passos in the 69th minute of play. If Wanderson Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wanderson Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Paulão Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89thth minute of the game Dalmo Pombal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jacu's Paulão Vidal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Dream Team RN - FDFDF's goalkeeper Marcelo Diniz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Roberto Neto. José Vítor Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão Vidal having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jacu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dream Team RN - FDFDF.
