Edvaldo Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Gilberto Tavares notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25's Edvaldo Paiva. Edvaldo Paiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vaggelis Kousouridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar da Mata in the 15th minute of the match. Oscar da Mata succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Alessandro Valle took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vaggelis Kousouridis. Vaggelis Kousouridis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 32nd minute, Gilberto Tavares made a precise shot to the right of Edvaldo Paiva. Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Damian Umbruso put in a rough tackle. In the 36th minute, one of GAMP FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GAMP FC. The goalkeeper, Vaggelis Kousouridis, was totally fooled by Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25's Zeca Tasso, who 39 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Percy Damião during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25 got a freekick which was hit by Percy Damião. 45 minutes into the match, Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25's goal looked a bit too open when Nilson Bittencourt came free, but Edvaldo Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gilberto Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nilson Bittencourt to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Nilson Bittencourt lined in a short shot 3-3 behind a frustrated Edvaldo Paiva. 57 minutes into the match, GAMP FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar da Mata came free, but Vaggelis Kousouridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilson Bittencourt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Edvaldo Paiva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Percy Damião was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. GAMP FC's Gilberto Tavares shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Edvaldo Paiva but with some difficulty. Oscar da Mata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vaggelis Kousouridis having to make a save. 67 minutes into the match, Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25's goalkeeper Edvaldo Paiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nilson Bittencourt. Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25's Edvaldo Paiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25 from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute Celso da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes, Oscar da Mata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25 and the GAMP FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nilson Bittencourt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Edvaldo Paiva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alessandro Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Vaggelis Kousouridis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nilson Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Paiva having to interfere. If Oscar da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilton da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Paulo Jacinto fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25's protests and gave Paulo Jacinto a yellow card for diving instead. Paulo Jacinto hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Paulo Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The GAMP FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GAMP FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
