Benê Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Azevedo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Pedro Paulo Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot. NAMO F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Paulo Abraão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The Mustangs United Football players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. NAMO F.C were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Capixaba made a kick off.
