After some careless play in the Pendencias AD defense, Elano Bueno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard de Godoi. The Pendencias AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard de Godoi should have stopped the shot. In the 12th match minute, Pendencias AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Doni Amorim hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Richard de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino Cunha in the 17th minute of the match. Richard de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elano Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Elano Bueno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elano Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleiton de Almeida couldn't finish the play. Elano Bueno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richard de Godoi having to make a save. Elano Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Richard de Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Ramiro de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tucum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro de Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Carlos Zonta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaltino Cunha made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Tucum's Isaltino Cunha made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard de Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Richard de Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaltino Cunha in the 56th minute. Marcos Cerezo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard de Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Richard de Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doni Amorim in the 67th minute. The supporters of Tucum booed when Pendencias AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos da Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. A very good chance for a goal. Marcos Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard de Godoi having to interfere.
