Cecília's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pendencias AD the free kick. After 25 played minutes Cecília got a freekick which was hit by Elói Corrêa. Tião Carioca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Edmílson Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pendencias AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmílson Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richard de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Paulo Pirani in the 34th minute of play. Edmílson Amorim struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Luiz Guilherme Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pendencias AD. Dinei Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Pendencias AD getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ricardinho Valadares hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmílson Amorim to strike the kick off in the second half. Richard de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Cruz in the 54th minute of the match. When Zé Carlos da Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pendencias AD's protests and gave Zé Carlos da Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. Zé Carlos da Fonseca hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Luiz Guilherme Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tião Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Paulo Pirani's late challenge caught a Pendencias AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Paulo Pirani helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, João Paulo Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Guilherme Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tião Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmílson Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme Araújo having to interfere. João Paulo Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elói Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Edmílson Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Guilherme Araújo was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
