Gil Salgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andy Henriksson's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Gil Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. João Vítor Alcântara's late challenge caught a CHARRUA A.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Vítor Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, EmeDois's João Vítor Alcântara got a free kick in the 9th minute. With a little luck, EmeDois's Edvaldo Pinheiro got control of the ball when Luís Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CHARRUA A.C's zone, Lino Passos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Salgado came out of the goal and Lino Passos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andy Henriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Henriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Dráusio Souto charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráusio Souto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, CHARRUA A.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráusio Souto to maneuver through the defense. Gil Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Luís Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andy Henriksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gil Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andy Henriksson ran back to his position shaking his head. Nestor Mendes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Andy Henriksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CHARRUA A.C's Gil Salgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute Andy Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andy Henriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gil Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yan Breckenfeld during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, EmeDois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yan Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in EmeDois's zone, Eduardo de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Pinheiro came out of the goal and Eduardo de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Andy Henriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Salgado having to interfere. When João Vítor Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the EmeDois fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Vítor Alcântara couldn't finish the play. Andy Henriksson charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andy Henriksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, CHARRUA A.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmir Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Ruy Miranda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gil Salgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. EmeDois's Edvaldo Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Quintal in the 77th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Andy Henriksson could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-4 into the left cross. Nestor Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Gil Salgado made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as EmeDois's Andy Henriksson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gil Salgado. That made the score 0-5 after 85 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, EmeDois's Amauri da Silva got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute of the match CHARRUA A.C got a corner. EmeDois's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eduardo de Sousa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Walmir Carneiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edvaldo Pinheiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. CHARRUA A.C's Gil Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Passos in the 95th minute of play. The CHARRUA A.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. EmeDois were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
