Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roger Silva started the match with the kick off. 12 minutes into the match, SEG - DF's Roger Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdemar Arantes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Silva in the 15th minute of play forced Funilandia's goalkeeper Valdemar Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Jonas Baptista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdemar Arantes. Funilandia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Baptista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Zé Carlos de Mendonça took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Alfredo Tróia to make any attempt to save it. In the 29th match minute, SEG - DF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Baptista in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdemar Arantes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th match minute, Funilandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Rosado to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute Jonas Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Egídio Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Funilandia's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Silva came free, but Valdemar Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Roger Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Carlos de Mendonça to make the kick off. Funilandia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Costa in the 53rd minute. If Kauan Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jonas Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Funilandia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonas Baptista fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Funilandia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Gaspar in the 74th minute of play forced SEG - DF's goalkeeper Alfredo Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho Dionísio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Valdemar Arantes made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erivaldo Silveira during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Funilandia booed when SEG - DF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erivaldo Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Silva struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Valdemar Arantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SEG - DF. In the 95th minute Erivaldo Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of SEG - DF's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. SEG - DF may have spent more time on the ball, but Funilandia were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
