Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) Oséas Tande started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 16 minutes Goldens Boys's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Egídio Meireles who took care of the corner kick. Doni Dionísio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Luiz Ramos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marquinhos Gerber having to make a save. After 20 minutes, Oséas Tande made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Morore FC's Marquinhos Gerber tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Luiz Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorginho Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Netto in the 29th minute of play. Jorginho Brito came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Morore FC's Vicente Bezerra. But to his dismay, Vicente Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Morore FC's Sérgio das Neves got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute Vicente Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Sérgio das Neves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morore FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goldens Boys the free kick. After a rather tough play, Morore FC's Sérgio das Neves got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vicente Bezerra was the one to do the kick off. Eliseu Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Goldens Boys's Didi Leme got a free kick in the 55th minute. Egídio Meireles took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jorginho Brito. Goldens Boys's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Goldens Boys's Luiz Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eliseu Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vicente Bezerra came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Morore FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Bezerra couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Goldens Boys's Jorginho Brito got control of the ball when Eliseu Netto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute, Eliseu Netto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morore FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseu Netto got free with Jorginho Brito in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luiz Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vicente Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorginho Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseu Netto in the 98th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Morore FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
