José Augusto Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Pais's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe de Andrade came free, but José Augusto Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Felipe de Andrade recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Augusto Mineiro. Felipe de Andrade showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, Huw Isham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. José Augusto Mineiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Esra Adolfsson let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 20th minute shot 3-0 at rihgt post. 27 minutes into the match, Barrigudos Futebol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Edinho Pena came free, but Erivaldo Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erivaldo Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Furtado in the 30th minute of play. José Augusto Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe de Andrade in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Pais getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Rodriguinho de Godoi hit a great ball. In the 39th minute Felipe de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Pais's goalkeeper José Augusto Mineiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Huw Isham. In the 44th minute of the match, Esra Adolfsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but José Augusto Mineiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pais's José Augusto Mineiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Pais from getting a goal against them. Esra Adolfsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. José Augusto Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramiro Simões to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe de Andrade in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Augusto Mineiro saved Pais from getting behind. José Augusto Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. But to his dismay, Esra Adolfsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 81st match minute, Pais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Mello to maneuver through the defense. José Augusto Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe de Andrade in the 82nd minute of play. José Augusto Mineiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe de Andrade went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Pais booed when Barrigudos Futebol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Barrigudos Futebol Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
