Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nilton Linhares started the match with the kick off. Tupaoca FC's Bruno Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bruno Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felippe Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Donato Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Bruno Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA Itaipu's Donato Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Amaral in the 20th minute of play forced CA Itaipu's goalkeeper Donato Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felippe Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Donato Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Paulo Veloso charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Paulo Veloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luiz Paulo Veloso hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. CA Itaipu's Donato Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Corrêa in the 31st minute of play. Donato Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Felippe Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th match minute, CA Itaipu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Secco to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felippe Corrêa made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, CA Itaipu's goalkeeper Donato Moreno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Amaral. Donato Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Corrêa in the 57th minute of play. Bruno Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Donato Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Felippe Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Felippe Corrêa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Donato Moreno. That made the score 0-1 in the 65 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Amaral got free with Donato Moreno in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruno Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Donato Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Amaral in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Moreno saved CA Itaipu from getting behind. CA Itaipu's Donato Moreno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save CA Itaipu from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the match, CA Itaipu's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Corrêa came free, but Donato Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Tupaoca FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
