An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz Rocha in the 38th minute of play forced Ajacio EC's goalkeeper Décio Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alan Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuca Lima having to interfere.
