When Vágner Donato came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Thunder F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vágner Donato couldn't finish the play. José Pedro Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vágner Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Vágner Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vágner Donato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 82nd minute Vágner Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vágner Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilmar Xavier hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Válbson Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. José Pedro Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vágner Donato took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Pedro Trancoso. José Pedro Trancoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Thunder F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
