Luiz Eduardo Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genílson Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Floripa United's Leandro Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Floripa United from getting a goal against them. If Flavinho Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Adhemar Rosado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Leandro Trigo, passed just outside the right post. In the 31st minute, Zé Pedro Silveira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Leandro Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Rosado in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, BEST FABIO FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Telmo Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Telmo Rocha hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Floripa United's William Moreno got a free kick in the 45th minute. Adhemar Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Trigo having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artur Lopez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Genílson Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floripa United's supporters rose to their feet, but Genílson Nóbrega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Eduardo Quintal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Abraão charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Abraão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Floripa United booed when BEST FABIO FUTEBOL CLUBE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes Floripa United got a freekick which was hit by Christian Cruz. Adhemar Rosado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Trigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Leandro Trigo came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by BEST FABIO FUTEBOL CLUBE's Adhemar Rosado. But to his dismay, Adhemar Rosado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Leandro Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adhemar Rosado in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, BEST FABIO FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deivid Guedes to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Eduardo Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genílson Nóbrega in the 87th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Adhemar Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot. BEST FABIO FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters rose to their feet, but Adhemar Rosado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leandro Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adhemar Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
