Spectators: 7113 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hortêncio Mandrak started the match with the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Real brasil:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Meninos da Vila:s goal. The supporters of Real brasil booed when Meninos da Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Silas Rossi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Afonso Toledo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Afonso Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Guerra in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Meninos da Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Guerra came free, but Afonso Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Mandrak in the 19th minute of play forced Real brasil's goalkeeper Wiliam da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes, Delfim Travassos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real brasil and the Meninos da Vila players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Delfim Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Hortêncio Mandrak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Wiliam da Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hortêncio Mandrak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wiliam da Cunha having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Álvaro Guerra was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Meninos da Vila's Otávio Lago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wiliam da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wiliam da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otávio Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Cesinha Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meninos da Vila's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesinha Moreno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wiliam da Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hortêncio Mandrak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wiliam da Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Brasil in the 74th minute of play forced Meninos da Vila's goalkeeper Afonso Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hortêncio Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam da Cunha having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Real brasil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. Hortêncio Mandrak in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wiliam da Cunha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Igor de Andrade hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When Hortêncio Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Meninos da Vila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hortêncio Mandrak couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Meninos da Vila had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
