Danilo Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio do Nascimento having to interfere. Dário Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Tarcisio do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esporte Clube Bahia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
