Laércio Fernandes made a great header on Esporte Clube Bahia's corner, it was just that Sacramento FC's Jorge de Sena managed to reach the ball for a save. Artur Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fábio Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Cruz to make the kick off. Artur Aguiar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eliézer Valadares. 61 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Bahia's Dário Capixaba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge de Sena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Sacramento FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dário Capixaba came free, but Jorge de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge de Sena having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Bahia's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson Meirelles came free, but Artur Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Capixaba in the 73rd minute of play forced Sacramento FC's goalkeeper Jorge de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dário Capixaba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dário Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esporte Clube Bahia's Artur Aguiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Esporte Clube Bahia from getting a goal against them. Danilo Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge de Sena having to interfere. Esporte Clube Bahia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
