Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chico Schmidt kicked off to start the match. In the 7th match minute, Balco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Linares to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute of the match Benê Peres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Friedrich Nietzsche skillfully saved the ball. Friedrich Nietzsche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandrinho Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. With 13 minutes on the clock, Benedito Oliveira commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Balco fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! In the 16th match minute, Balco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sonny Rollins to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 18 minutes, João Vítor Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balco's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Vítor Linares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Balco's Luís da Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Santa Lúcia FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Armandinho Mendes hit a great ball. Christiano Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Nicolas Loyola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Friedrich Nietzsche. Balco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolas Loyola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, Santa Lúcia FC's Christiano Diniz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Friedrich Nietzsche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Vítor Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luís Terra having to interfere. When Sonny Rollins fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balco's protests and gave Sonny Rollins a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes Balco got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Rollins. Sonny Rollins kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Diniz in the 46th minute of play forced Balco's goalkeeper Friedrich Nietzsche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Christiano Diniz made the kick off in the second half. Sonny Rollins hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Luís da Cunha's late challenge caught a Santa Lúcia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís da Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Christiano Diniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Friedrich Nietzsche was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Nicolas Loyola struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Friedrich Nietzsche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Lúcia FC. Anísio Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When João Vítor Linares came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Balco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Vítor Linares couldn't finish the play. Santa Lúcia FC's Christiano Diniz got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75thth minute of the game Christiano Diniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balco's Friedrich Nietzsche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Santa Lúcia FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Linares came free, but Sílvio Luís Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89thth minute of the game Christiano Diniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balco's Friedrich Nietzsche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santa Lúcia FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
