Spectators: 7179 (Terracing: 5386, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Simão de Sena took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tiraninhos FC's Laerte Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Tiraninhos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 4th minute of the match, Simão de Sena tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laerte Salles saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Victor Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Laerte Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrício Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jânio Freitas might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Tasso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jânio Freitas ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Tasso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jânio Freitas went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Urussui's Jacinto Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laerte Salles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 29 minutes, Falcão Ceresso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tiraninhos FC and the Urussui players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Falcão Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte Salles having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Moreno got free with Laerte Salles in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Urussui's goal looked a bit too open when Jânio Freitas came free, but Daniel Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner Mendonça in the 40th minute of play. Urussui's Daniel Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Novaes in the 42nd minute of play. Jânio Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Serginho Meirelles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urussui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiraninhos FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Mendonça in the 47th minute of play forced Urussui's goalkeeper Daniel Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jânio Freitas to strike the kick off in the second half. Laerte Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Jacinto Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão de Sena in the 70th minute of play forced Tiraninhos FC's goalkeeper Laerte Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Simão de Sena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laerte Salles was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Urussui's Daniel Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Urussui from getting a goal against them. Daniel Tasso made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Artur Novaes sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Tiraninhos FC's Falcão Ceresso got a free kick in the 79th minute. Victor Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Falcão Ceresso was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. A collision led to Tiraninhos FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Falcão Ceresso hit a great ball. Urussui were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tiraninhos FC to leave the ground with a draw.
