The score was now 1-0. Joel Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Miguel Xavier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Saraiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Sipeva EC's Jefferson Vander slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ismael Velloso. That made the score 2-1 after 17 minutes of play. Ismael Velloso was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Jefferson Vander capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jefferson Vander really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Sipeva EC's attack was well implemented in the 28th minute, but when Jefferson Vander was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. If Alfredo de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sipeva EC's Jefferson Vander got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Sipeva EC booed when Marequeta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jefferson Vander in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Alfredo de Carvalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Ismael Velloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jefferson Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ismael Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Marequeta SC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Daniel Viana hit a great ball. Alfredo de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Velloso having to interfere. Jairo Mota hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Loureiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joel Saraiva didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 4-2. In the 56th minute, Alfredo de Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sipeva EC's Jefferson Vander got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Marequeta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo de Carvalho came free, but Ismael Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jefferson Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Xavier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Joel Saraiva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joélson Corrêa scored 6-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Velloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jefferson Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Velloso having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Sipeva EC's Alfredo de Carvalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismael Velloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jefferson Vander struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ismael Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sipeva EC. When Jefferson Vander, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 96 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ismael Velloso was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sipeva EC had played much better football throughout.
