The supporters of Jeitosa AD booed when Benfica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Silvério Messias came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Jeitosa AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvério Messias couldn't finish the play. If Douglas Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Benfica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jeitosa AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
