The Cacauzinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denílson Passos should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Recife in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denílson Passos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nuno Vidal hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Denílson Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Bodelon, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flávio Zonta made a kick off. Cacauzinho's Denílson Passos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Kasesky EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cacauzinho throughout the match.
