Spectators: 7063 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Severino Barros started the match with the kick off. Emanuel Bezerra made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Augusto de Salles sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Bezerra came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Brejui SC's Augusto de Salles. But to his dismay, Augusto de Salles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Varzeado's Emanuel Bezerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Varzeado from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Varzeado's Emanuel Bezerra got control of the ball when Augusto de Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mateus de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Berger in the 18th minute of play. Varzeado were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Brejui SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafinha Diniz took the corner. After taking down the ball on Varzeado's corner Rafinha Diniz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mateus de Toledo quite easily take care of the ball. Emanuel Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Brejui SC's César dos Santos got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Augusto de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severino Barros in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateus de Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Augusto de Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Bezerra having to interfere. Emanuel Bezerra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Caio Soeiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caio Soeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Leonardo Ortiz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateus de Toledo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Varzeado getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Severino Barros hit a great ball. If Caio Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Caio Soeiro notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Varzeado's Emanuel Bezerra. Emanuel Bezerra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 65 minutes into the game, Dinei Berger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Mateus de Toledo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mateus de Toledo made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Dinei Berger sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 71 minutes, Caio Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brejui SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caio Soeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto de Salles in the 73rd minute of play forced Varzeado's goalkeeper Emanuel Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateus de Toledo made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Dinei Berger sent off a good shot on target. Caio Soeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Bezerra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. When Augusto de Salles came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Brejui SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto de Salles couldn't finish the play. In the 81st match minute, Brejui SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fellipe Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Dinei Berger might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateus de Toledo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinei Berger ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brejui SC had played much better football throughout.
