Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zé Paulo Peres got the match started through his kick off. After 4 played minutes Felicina got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Baiano. In the 10th minute, Magu SC's Décio Ortiz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 13 minutes of play, Magu SC's Kléberson Silva made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiago Pitta was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Dantas in the 19th minute of play forced Magu SC's goalkeeper Reginaldo Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match, Kléberson Silva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tiago Pitta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Magu SC's Reginaldo Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Peres in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Peres in the 27th minute of play forced Magu SC's goalkeeper Reginaldo Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Felicina's Gilson Medeiros in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Magu SC's goalie prevented a goal. If Zé Paulo Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felicina's Gilson Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reginaldo Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Reginaldo Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Dantas in the 41st minute of play. Kléberson Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Pitta having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute, Benjamim Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Baiano, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Ernesto Palmeira took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Reginaldo Camargo to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Décio Ortiz in the 61st minute of play forced Felicina's goalkeeper Tiago Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kléberson Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Tiago Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiago Pitta came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Magu SC's Waldemar Tinoco. But to his dismay, Waldemar Tinoco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Décio Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magu SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Décio Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Pitta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 83 minutes, Gilson Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Felicina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilson Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Felicina's zone, Benjamim Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Pitta came out of the goal and Benjamim Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Felicina's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
