Simão Bezerra started the match with the kick off. The supporters of FELIPEKM Fórum Clube booed when Firmiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão Alvarenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alessandro Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio de Medeiros having to interfere. A collision led to FELIPEKM Fórum Clube getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Durval Botelho hit a great ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Firmiano's goalkeeper Ismael Favoretto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabiano Vidal's late challenge caught a Firmiano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabiano Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, FELIPEKM Fórum Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Vidal to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 27 in the game by Silvério Toledo from a close distance when the talented Aloísio de Medeiros managed to make a qualified save. FELIPEKM Fórum Clube's players were relieved. In the 30th minute Alessandro Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Favoretto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruy Leite in the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, FELIPEKM Fórum Clube's goalkeeper Aloísio de Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvério Toledo. Luizão Alvarenga hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Bezerra in the 41st minute of play forced Firmiano's goalkeeper Ismael Favoretto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Alberto Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Favoretto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruy Leite's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Ruy Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alessandro Tepedino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Silvério Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alessandro Tepedino came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Firmiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Tepedino couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the match, Firmiano's Alessandro Tepedino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aloísio de Medeiros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FELIPEKM Fórum Clube's zone, Silvério Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aloísio de Medeiros came out of the goal and Silvério Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FELIPEKM Fórum Clube's Ruy Leite got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruy Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ismael Favoretto made a huge save. FELIPEKM Fórum Clube's Aloísio de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvério Toledo in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alessandro Tepedino in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aloísio de Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute, Romeu Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luciano Cardozo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Ruy Leite came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the FELIPEKM Fórum Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruy Leite couldn't finish the play. Firmiano's Ismael Favoretto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Firmiano from getting a goal against them. After having played for 87 minutes, Simão Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FELIPEKM Fórum Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Firmiano defense, Ruy Leite kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Favoretto. The Firmiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Favoretto should have stopped the shot. If Ruy Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Simão Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute, Zeca Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Firmiano supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FELIPEKM Fórum Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for FELIPEKM Fórum Clube.
