Spectators: 7211 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rodrigo Ferraz got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Ferraz in the 7th minute of play forced Meriti's goalkeeper Celso Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, MusicBall Show's Rodrigo Ferraz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celso Gonçalves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute Dieguinho Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rodrigo Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Gonçalves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enio Toledo went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Luiz Guilherme de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Pedro Augusto Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in MusicBall Show's zone, Luiz Guilherme de Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Augusto Prestes came out of the goal and Luiz Guilherme de Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luiz Guilherme de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Luiz Guilherme de Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meriti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half Meriti were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dieguinho Sabóia to make the kick off. Meriti's Celso Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Toledo in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Luiz Guilherme de Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Augusto Prestes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Guilherme de Mendonça in the 64th minute. Enio Toledo took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celso Gonçalves. Celso Gonçalves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 74th minute Dieguinho Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Válter Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 84 played minutes MusicBall Show got a freekick which was hit by Válter Coutinho. In the 85th minute, Raúl Prestes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and MusicBall Show's Pedro Augusto Prestes didn't even have to move. Dieguinho Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
