Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) Itahum's Baltazar Barral started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Faria in the 13th minute of play forced Itahum's goalkeeper Paulo José Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Hudson Bastos could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Renatinho Ferraz however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to CRIZEIRO-DF getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Cafu da Cunha hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the match Anderson Medeiros shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Renatinho Ferraz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Juarês Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo José Carneiro having to interfere. Renatinho Ferraz was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Hudson Bastos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hudson Bastos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Hernani Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Itahum's Baltazar Barral got a free kick in the 39th minute. Paulo José Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Itahum's goalie and right to Juarês Faria. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Itahum's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juarês Faria was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, CRIZEIRO-DF's Cafu da Cunha got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Cafu da Cunha took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo José Carneiro. Paulo José Carneiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4.
