Spectators: 7267 (Terracing: 5452, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hernani Faria started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Flamengo Castilla's goalkeeper Zeca Fantini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarbas Barbosa. When Jarbas Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Barcelona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarbas Barbosa couldn't finish the play. After 11th play minutes Duarte Paraibano shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Zeca Fantini and just under the crossbar into goal. After 14 minutes of play, Barcelona FC's Jarbas Barbosa made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeca Fantini was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Flamengo Castilla's Fabrício Rosa got a free kick in the 16th minute. Zeca Fantini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duarte Paraibano's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Flamengo Castilla's Zeca Fantini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Flamengo Castilla from getting a goal against them. Fabrício Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Aílton Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Laércio Travassos fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flamengo Castilla's protests and gave Laércio Travassos a yellow card for diving instead. Duarte Paraibano hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jarbas Barbosa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 28th playminute. After a rather tough play, Barcelona FC's Léo Borges got a free kick in the 31st minute. Aílton Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernani Faria in the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Duarte Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcelona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Duarte Paraibano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeca Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Flamengo Castilla's zone, Jarbas Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeca Fantini came out of the goal and Jarbas Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastião Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Barcelona FC's Duarte Paraibano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zeca Fantini. Zeca Fantini yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. After 45 minutes, Enio Aparecido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flamengo Castilla and the Barcelona FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Flamengo Castilla! When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Barcelona FC's Carlos Eduardo Koehler got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Zeca Fantini. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duarte Paraibano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barcelona FC's Aílton Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Faria in the 52nd minute of play. After 60th play minutes Jarbas Barbosa shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Zeca Fantini and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 66th minute Jarbas Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeca Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Barcelona FC fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Barcelona FC's Duarte Paraibano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fabrício Rosa struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Aílton Falcão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo Castilla. In the 79th minute, Duarte Paraibano made a precise shot to the right of Zeca Fantini. Flamengo Castilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Jarbas Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Fantini having to interfere. Duarte Paraibano took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeca Fantini. Zeca Fantini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. If Duarte Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeca Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Barbosa in the 99th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Barcelona FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
