Aílton Falcão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aílton Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafinha Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafinha Moura in the 20th minute of play forced Barcelona FC's goalkeeper Aílton Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Vítor Santos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Duarte Paraibano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. Aílton Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafinha Moura in the 25th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Barcelona FC's João Vítor Santos threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Duarte Paraibano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eugênio Cerezo charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugênio Cerezo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barcelona FC booed when Vaca Veia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugênio Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Eduardo Koehler shot from long distance in the 32nd minute, but João Vítor Santos was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. If Jarbas Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Jarbas Barbosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Vítor Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Barcelona FC's Duarte Paraibano in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vaca Veia's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Vaca Veia's João Vítor Santos got control of the ball when Jarbas Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duarte Paraibano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Jarbas Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 56 minutes, Duarte Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcelona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duarte Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Vítor Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Túlio Lucass short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Aílton Falcão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 63rd minute, Túlio Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jarbas Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Duarte Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarbas Barbosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Vítor Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Vaca Veia's João Vítor Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Paraibano in the 76th minute of play. The Barcelona FC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Barcelona FC's Duarte Paraibano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 81 minutes, Duarte Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcelona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duarte Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
