Spectators: 6937 (Terracing: 5427, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 10) Jarbas Barral started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the game, Oséias Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hellcife FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hawks the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Hellcife FC's zone, João Pedro Pirani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan da Silva came out of the goal and João Pedro Pirani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renan da Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarbas Barral's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Hellcife FC's Renan da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro Pirani in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hawks's goalkeeper Jarbas Dias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Hawks booed when Hellcife FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Hellcife FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Pedro Pirani came free, but Renan da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute João Pedro Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, João Pedro Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hawks's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Pedro Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, João Pedro Pirani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hawks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Christian Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Hawks were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Hellcife FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luciano Negri took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Jarbas Barral advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 32nd minute. Jarbas Barral took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan da Silva. Renan da Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 40 played minutes Hellcife FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fernando Barral. In the 43rd minute of the match Hawks got a corner. Hellcife FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luciano Negri ran over to the corner to take the kick.

After 52 played minutes, Hellcife FC's Oséias Barbosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jarbas Dias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hellcife FC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Hawks's zone, Ezequiel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarbas Dias came out of the goal and Ezequiel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute, Betinho Cardoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hellcife FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 58th match minute, Hawks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilton Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Jarbas Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Hawks's Jarbas Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Cardoso in the 62nd minute of play. Christian Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 76 minutes, Yuri Marquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hellcife FC and the Hawks players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, João Pedro Pirani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hawks fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Bruninho Vinhas walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Ezequiel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Betinho Cardoso in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarbas Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 98th minute of the match Hellcife FC got a corner. Hawks's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bruninho Vinhas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jorge Berger almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hawks's Jarbas Dias did a great save. Hawks's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
