If Pedro Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauan Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor de Alcântara having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lúcio Nóbrega got free with Nestor de Alcântara in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kauan Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar de Carvalho having to interfere. Pedro Simões struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Edgar de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tureckão2000. Edgar de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Sergipano in the 38th minute of play. Edgar de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Sergipano in the 39th minute of the match. If Pedro Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes of play, Tureckão2000's Pedro Simões made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar de Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kauan Lucas to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Simões blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar de Carvalho having to make a save. If Pedro Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tureckão2000's Nestor de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Lucas in the 57th minute of play. Pedro Simões hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Lucas in the 60th minute of play forced Tureckão2000's goalkeeper Nestor de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 played minutes Tureckão2000 got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Mendes. In the 66th minute, Tureckão2000's Cido Albuquerque seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cido Albuquerque the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tureckão2000 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cido Albuquerque had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tureckão2000 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! In the 68th minute there was a penalty for San Pauli FC. Tiago Gabriel Gerber stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nestor de Alcântara. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in San Pauli FC's zone, David Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar de Carvalho came out of the goal and David Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Anselmo Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tureckão2000's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Sergipano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anselmo Sergipano hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Nestor de Alcântara came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by San Pauli FC's Kauan Lucas. But to his dismay, Kauan Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. David Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar de Carvalho having to interfere. Lúcio Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor de Alcântara having to interfere. Many of Tureckão2000's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Tureckão2000 may have spent more time on the ball, but San Pauli FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
