C.'s Marcos Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 minutes of play, Verdão Paranaense F. C.'s Ernesto Koehler made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giovani do Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Marcos Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Albertinho Félix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pantanal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Pantanal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Koehler came free, but Giovani do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Gustavo Teixeira got free with Kaká Vides in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, Pantanal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Mandrak came free, but Giovani do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elder Hoffmann's late challenge caught a Pantanal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elder Hoffmann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Verdão Paranaense F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elder Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Rafa Amorim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Kaká Vides skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A nice corner shot did that Jano Moura got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kaká Vides quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Dionísio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, one of Verdão Paranaense F. C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Luís Gustavo Teixeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaká Vides read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After 65 minutes, Willian Esteves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Verdão Paranaense F. C. and the Pantanal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Verdão Paranaense F. C. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Willian Esteves hit a great ball. When Marcos Dionísio came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Verdão Paranaense F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Dionísio couldn't finish the play. 2-2 became the score in the 68th minute when Miguel Mandrak elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Giovani do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes Pantanal FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Amorim. Miguel Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Verdão Paranaense F. C.'s goalkeeper Kaká Vides, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 87 played minutes Pantanal FC got a freekick which was hit by David Barral. When Albertinho Félix came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Pantanal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albertinho Félix couldn't finish the play. Giovani do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Dionísio in the 98th minute of play. Verdão Paranaense F. C. were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Pantanal FC to leave the ground with a draw.
