Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Válbson Moura started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Benjamin Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldinho Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Toscano in the 7th minute of play. Rafa Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match Virgílio Linares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luís Valle skillfully saved the ball. György Cseh hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 11 played minutes Soviético FC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Koehler. S.E. Los Bigodes's Hílton Vergílio got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Luís Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes S.E. Los Bigodes got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Toscano. In the 22nd minute, Dino Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgílio Linares might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Luís Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgílio Linares ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Luís Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Moura in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Hílton Vergílio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ronaldinho Guedes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marquinhos Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 36 minutes, Benjamin Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E. Los Bigodes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Soviético FC's Inácio Munhoz got a free kick in the 42nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inácio Munhoz in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Luís Valle saved S.E. Los Bigodes from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Toscano in the 56th minute of play forced Soviético FC's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Toscano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 62 minutes of play, S.E. Los Bigodes's Marquinhos Duarte made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronaldinho Guedes was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Benjamin Toscano came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the S.E. Los Bigodes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Toscano couldn't finish the play. Ronaldinho Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from György Cseh, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, György Cseh made a precise shot to the right of Ronaldinho Guedes. Soviético FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The supporters of Soviético FC booed when S.E. Los Bigodes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Soviético FC's Carlos Eduardo Paraíba shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pedro Luís Valle but with some difficulty. Ronaldinho Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When György Cseh came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the S.E. Los Bigodes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that György Cseh couldn't finish the play. Pedro Luís Valle came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Soviético FC's Inácio Munhoz. But to his dismay, Inácio Munhoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 95th minute, György Cseh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
