The supporters of Independente FC booed when Hinkiridion F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes Hinkiridion F.C got a freekick which was hit by Elias Barbosa. Independente FC's Elder Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Cássio Sarmento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diogo Salgado in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovânio Cerezo saved Independente FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Independente FC's zone, Leonardo Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovânio Cerezo came out of the goal and Leonardo Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Elder Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hinkiridion F.C's Caio Quadros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Hinkiridion F.C from getting a goal against them. Leonardo Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Geovânio Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cássio Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
