Spectators: 7380 (Terracing: 5536, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zé Pedro Mineiro kicked off to start the match. Toninho Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juninho Medeiros in the 8th minute of play. If Juninho Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juninho Medeiros might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toninho Cerezo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juninho Medeiros ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 22 minutes, Aloísio Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gameleira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aloísio Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Toninho Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho Medeiros in the 32nd minute of the match. Aloísio Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Toninho Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Beirao SS getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jeferson Mendonça hit a great ball. Toninho Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juninho Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Eurico Valadares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gameleira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beirao SS the free kick. The supporters of Beirao SS booed when Gameleira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gameleira's Aloísio Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Beirao SS getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Donato Castro hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juninho Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. Aloísio Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Cerezo having to interfere. Beirao SS's Toninho Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Rosa in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Thiago Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aloísio Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Donato Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Juninho Medeiros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gameleira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Beirao SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gameleira:s goal. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Gameleira. Edmund Neuber stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Toninho Cerezo. 2-0. When Aloísio Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Gameleira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aloísio Rosa couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Gameleira getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Thiago Silva hit a great ball. Toninho Cerezo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aloísio Rosa went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score.
