An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Lago in the 3rd minute of play forced Cachorroes F.C's goalkeeper Ulysses Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th match minute, Cachorroes F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Sena to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Moisés Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachorroes F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino Meira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Moisés Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guto Bittencourt in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulysses Sabóia saved Cachorroes F.C from getting behind. After 15 played minutes Cachorroes F.C got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Sena. In the 21st minute, Mauro Lago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fraga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alex Xavier charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Xavier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adelino Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe Vinhas in the 27th minute of play. Adelino Meira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moisés Sena in the 32nd minute. Hermínio Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Fellipe Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Augusto Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Adelino Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guto Bittencourt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo Renato Urbano hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the game, Mauro Lago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ulysses Sabóia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 64 minutes into the game, Moisés Sena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Adelino Meira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute, Mauro Lago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fraga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Mauro Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Sabóia having to interfere. Mauro Lago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulysses Sabóia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fraga's zone, Moisés Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelino Meira came out of the goal and Moisés Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Augusto Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachorroes F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Mazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino Meira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Cachorroes F.C's Ulysses Sabóia got control of the ball when Mauro Lago tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mauro Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fraga walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
