If Moisés Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 5th minute of the match, Moisés Sena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aloísio Cordeiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fellipe Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Cordeiro having to interfere. Aloísio Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe Vinhas in the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to 2 de Julho EC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Falcão Matos hit a great ball. After 10 played minutes, Cachorroes F.C's Murilo Faria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aloísio Cordeiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cachorroes F.C reached it. Celsinho Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ulysses Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Fernandão Arósio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 2 de Julho EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cachorroes F.C's Moisés Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Paulo Renato Urbano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aloísio Cordeiro. 2 de Julho EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Renato Urbano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of 2 de Julho EC booed when Cachorroes F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute Falcão Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aloísio Cordeiro was a little too slow when Fellipe Vinhas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-1. If Fernandão Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Fernandão Arósio managed to get in a good position for a shot. 2 de Julho EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernandão Arósio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulysses Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulysses Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandão Arósio in the 38th minute of the match. Aloísio Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diogo Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Aloísio Cordeiro made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Paulo Renato Urbano sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, 2 de Julho EC's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Vinhas came free, but Aloísio Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fellipe Vinhas to strike the kick off in the second half. Ulysses Sabóia was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Murilo Reis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Murilo Reis really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Aloísio Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Sena in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, 2 de Julho EC's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Vinhas came free, but Aloísio Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falcão Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulysses Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandão Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Ulysses Sabóia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murilo Reis in the 72nd minute. Fernandão Arósio struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Ulysses Sabóia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 2 de Julho EC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Mazza in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aloísio Cordeiro saved 2 de Julho EC from getting behind. After having played for 77 minutes, Fernandão Arósio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 2 de Julho EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernandão Arósio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernandão Arósio succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3. Fernandão Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ulysses Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cachorroes F.C's Ulysses Sabóia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Cachorroes F.C from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fellipe Vinhas in the 92nd minute of play forced 2 de Julho EC's goalkeeper Aloísio Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, 2 de Julho EC's Falcão Matos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulysses Sabóia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 2 de Julho EC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
