After 2 played minutes Inter Florida E.C got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Loyola. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Lira got free with Frederico Cabral in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frederico Cabral made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Leonardo Quintal sent off a good shot on target. Golden Warriors's Frederico Cabral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Golden Warriors from getting a goal against them. Romeu Cerezo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frederico Cabral. Golden Warriors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Allan Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Frederico Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diguinho Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. After 35 played minutes, Inter Florida E.C's Romeu Cerezo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frederico Cabral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inter Florida E.C reached it. After 37 minutes, Gualter de Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter Florida E.C and the Golden Warriors players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Golden Warriors booed when Inter Florida E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Leonardo Quintal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Warriors's Frederico Cabral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Quintal to make the kick off. Frederico Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Lira in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Diguinho Toledo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aírton Prata, passed just outside the right post. If Allan Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cléberson Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Leonardo Quintal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Frederico Cabral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Inter Florida E.C's Umberto Loyola suffered a sore foot after 69 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Cléberson Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Leonardo Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualter de Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Frederico Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Florida E.C. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Lira in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederico Cabral saved Golden Warriors from getting behind. Frederico Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inter Florida E.C's Leonardo Quintal got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frederico Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Frederico Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederico Cabral came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter Florida E.C's Leonardo Quintal. But to his dismay, Leonardo Quintal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 97 minutes into the match, Golden Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Matos came free, but Frederico Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Inter Florida E.C were the better team. Inter Florida E.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
