Pedro Augusto Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Golden Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Platon Losada came free, but Frederico Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederico Cabral was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Gert Vennerkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gert Vennerkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Platon Losada's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Frederico Cabral firmly grabbed it by the left post. Júnior Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diguinho Toledo in the 22nd minute of play. Davi Moreno struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Júnior Baiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Warriors. After 26 minutes, Cléberson Aparecido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Warriors and the Baracaja FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Golden Warriors booed when Baracaja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Ginsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Toledo in the 43rd minute of play forced Baracaja FC's goalkeeper Júnior Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Augusto Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diguinho Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Baracaja FC fully deserved thier win.
