Cafu Prestes hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Dé Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Abelardo Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Sidney Marques notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of MANOLÃO's Luiz Gustavo Queirós. Luiz Gustavo Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guilherme Vazs short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Abelardo Cunha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dé Matorin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abelardo Cunha having to make a save. After the first half Factum in Memoriam were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sidney Marques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edson Vieira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Luiz Gustavo Queirós made a huge save. The supporters of MANOLÃO booed when Factum in Memoriam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breno Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elói Secco charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elói Secco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute Dé Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Factum in Memoriam walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
