A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Sapesal's goal looked a bit too open when Percival Tavares came free, but Kléberson Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sapesal's Caio Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge França during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sapesal's Jorge França got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 36th minute Dino Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Bola Bola FC defense, Valdomiro Zonta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Gustavo de Amorim. The Bola Bola FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Gustavo de Amorim should have stopped the shot. Belmiro Arruda's late challenge caught a Sapesal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belmiro Arruda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, one of Bola Bola FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bola Bola FC. The goalkeeper, Luiz Gustavo de Amorim, was totally fooled by Sapesal's Felippe de Medeiros, who 81 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Bola Bola FC's Júlio Paulista got a free kick in the 87th minute. Sapesal's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
