Spectators: 7043 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sidney Marques kicked off to start the match. Guaxindiba AD's Gustavo Gaúcho was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 2nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 6th minute Gustavo Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaxindiba AD were furious when Elias Carvalho was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 7 minutes into the game, one of Guaxindiba AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Factum in Memoriam a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Frédson Miranda, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guaxindiba AD's Luiz Fabiano dos Santos. 1-1. Breno Brodel's late challenge caught a Guaxindiba AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Breno Brodel helped the player get up and apologised. Breno Brodel hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, Edson Vieira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Luiz Fabiano dos Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sidney Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Schmidt got free with Abelardo Cunha in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Erik Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Factum in Memoriam were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Abelardo Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Erik Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Abelardo Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaxindiba AD. The Factum in Memoriam players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Guaxindiba AD from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
