In the 15th match minute, TodoTorto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of TodoTorto FC booed when Apiaca SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Luiz Vides stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of TodoTorto FC's defenders and the ball went out. Apiaca SS appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. Donato Soeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olavo de Queiroz having to make a save. In the 24th minute, Jefferson Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Paes in the 26th minute of play forced TodoTorto FC's goalkeeper Olívio Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th match minute, Apiaca SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediberto Lopez to maneuver through the defense. After 65 played minutes TodoTorto FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Marquez. 66 minutes into the match, Apiaca SS's Laércio Sampaio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. TodoTorto FC's Olívio Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save TodoTorto FC from getting a goal against them. Fernandão Nunes's late challenge caught a Apiaca SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernandão Nunes helped the player get up and apologised. 75 minutes in the game, Willian Paes dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 77th minute Joel Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luiz Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Olívio Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, TodoTorto FC's goalkeeper Olívio Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elano de Mendonça. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elano de Mendonça got free with Olívio Teixeira in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olívio Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Vides in the 86th minute of play. After 87 played minutes TodoTorto FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Marquez.
