Fellipe Pinheiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Vítor Branco hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Fellipe Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Meaipe FC's Zé Augusto Salles. But to his dismay, Zé Augusto Salles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 14 Bis Sport Club's Fellipe Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genílson Bittencourt in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes of play, Meaipe FC's Genílson Bittencourt made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fellipe Pinheiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Meaipe FC's Genílson Bittencourt got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Meaipe FC's Murilo Couto got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Celsinho Prado came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the 14 Bis Sport Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celsinho Prado couldn't finish the play. Carlos Augusto Pitta struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Zé Carlos de Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 14 Bis Sport Club. After a rather tough play, Meaipe FC's Renato Tande got a free kick in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aníbal Hoffmann during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Meaipe FC booed when 14 Bis Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Genílson Bittencourt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fellipe Pinheiro. 14 Bis Sport Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Genílson Bittencourt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. A collision led to Meaipe FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Renato Tande hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Genílson Bittencourt was the one to do the kick off. If Zé Augusto Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, 14 Bis Sport Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Genílson Bittencourt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Zé Augusto Salless short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Fellipe Pinheiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Augusto Salles during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Meaipe FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto Salles. Genílson Bittencourt hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 14 Bis Sport Club's Fellipe Pinheiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save 14 Bis Sport Club from getting a goal against them. Zé Augusto Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Fellipe Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Augusto Salles in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fellipe Pinheiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Genílson Bittencourt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fellipe Pinheiro was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Zé Augusto Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meaipe FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
