Claudinho Miranda's late challenge caught a Real Iputinga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinho Miranda helped the player get up and apologised. Claudinho Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Flávio Batista took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Luiz Guilherme de Senna to make any attempt to save it. After 87 played minutes Casagrande FC got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Mendonça. 89 minutes into the game, Real Iputinga's Romário Neto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jay-Jay Torpeda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Antônio Carlos Novaes hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Batista in the 93rd minute of play forced Real Iputinga's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Real Iputinga left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Casagrande FC.
