Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicolas Botelho started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, Maracuja's Jeferson Ferreira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Reis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caraubas SS's Richard Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Ferreira in the 6th minute of play. Nicolas Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Caraubas SS's Noel Linhares got a free kick in the 16th minute. Richard Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Raphael Gaspar hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Caraubas SS's Richard Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Ferreira in the 27th minute of play. Richard Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Álvaro de Castro's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. A collision led to Caraubas SS getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Raphael Gaspar hit a great ball. Richard Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 43 played minutes Caraubas SS got a freekick which was hit by Noel Linhares. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

With an all-out effort, Maracuja's Richard Reis threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Álvaro de Castro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Murillo Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Botelho in the 59th minute of play. Nicolas Botelho struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Murillo Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caraubas SS. Nicolas Botelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Murillo Antunes having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Álvaro de Castro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Richard Reis. That made the score 0-3 in the 67 minute of play. Maracuja's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 80th minute of the game, when Zé Paulo Soares after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Caraubas SS's goal. Zé Paulo Soares was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 83rd minute, Raphael Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton de Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Linhares lost his temper 87 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Noel Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Maracuja's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Gaspar came free, but Murillo Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caraubas SS's Richard Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton de Medeiros in the 95th minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Caraubas SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Vinhas to maneuver through the defense.
